Who was the last president who came to write his own speeches.?
Lincoln wrote his Gettysburg Address on the train. Kennedy said he writes his own several times. But not once since I heard of a president writing his own speeches. Sometimes I do not think that not even read before delivery. The teleprompter allows them to mislead the public as if it were simply read.
Reagan wrote many of his own speeches and always edited his speeches to the others.
