railroads industrial revolution
Could work on the railway or in a coal mine is considered part of the industrial revolution?
I am writing a paper History and my teacher gave us on … "You are a worker in the industry somewhere between 1880 and 1905. Describe your life. Remember not to speak of both their work and family life. What to do in life? Where (and how) do you live? What are their hopes and aspirations for you and your family? What reasons have to join a union? What union or labor organization that interest period when more and why? What – you join this union? "I'm looking for interesting information about the coal mines and railway construction, but I wonder if that would be considered "industrial"?! Also – If you know of some good information and reading that I could do more this paper, I want good reading:) I guess my real question is … that the railroad labor or coal miners are believed to have industrial jobs?
In fact, it's a little difficult. I would say yes, both are industrial workers. But the professor does not agree on the fact that a) minor works in the primary and b) the railway employees in particular trades that runs could be considered craftsmen. What the teacher can say "the workers in the manufacturing sector. If so, then the task is a bit poorly worded. It would be useful just to check this with your teacher – ask after class or send a brief e-mail – and make sure they are on the same page. Good luck.
