My suggestion would be to buy unpainted people, especially running or walking ones (depending on your idea of a zombie). That way, you can 1) pay less for more, 2) customize your zombies, 3) if you mess up on the paint, say it’s gore. Attaching 1:87 scale tools such as axes to the body would add to the realism of undead invasion. Also, if you get unpainted figures, you can use some of their limbs and some bits of plastic to make a bloody aftermath.
