The Mcain adopted daughter, and the adoption process in America?
I read in The Independent this weekend (as reported in a train), Cindy Mcain and her husband have an adopted daughter. However, the piece noted that Cindy Mcain is a woman "strong and independent" and gave the example of his home with the adopted child (originally from Bangladesh), and introduce the child to John Mcain saying, This is our new daughter. Now, even taking account of journalistic license, what surprised me was the involvement of John Mcain was not part of the evaluation process of adoption at all. How so? I thought the adoption of one for children, especially in a culture so different from the United States, would have resulted in social work and a thorough psychological evaluation of both parents having intention to adopt the child. What is the process in the U.S. for these things?
While in the U.S., when you're a 100 million dollars …. You get to do what you want to adopt or not. (As steal painkillers for a charity and not getting put in jail) and this is true in the past 8 years than any time sine the beginning of 1900. So all these problems of social programs began to go. You know, like the Labor Day, etc.
